The Prima 8 uses retransfer technology to produce the highest quality over the edge printing.
This printer also offers the ability to use a special UV ribbon for printing invisible logos or symbols which can only be seen by the use of an ultra violet light for added security and to decrease counterfeiting.
The Prima 8 offers many encoding options from smart card encoding to MIFARE, DESFire and iClass. Additional EMV accredited devices can also be added for issuance of payment cards.
