Crescendo C2300 cards by HID offer a converged solution for both physical access control and strong authentication applications for IT resources.

These highly secure multi technology smart cards can be used for both logical access of networks and computers as well as existing access control for buildings and doors.

These out of the box compliant cards can be used with existing physical access control for added strong authentication applications such as standard proximity, SEOS, MIFARE DESFire EV1. 

The Crescendo C2300 cards further provide digital signature, data encryption and secure printing.  

These smart cards can be ordered in stand alone mode or for use with ActivID credential management system.  The Crescendo C2300 smart cards can be used with contact or contactless smart card readers.
